Sesame Pork Stir Fry

This sesame pork stir fry is a super quick 20-minute recipe, perfect for after work or busy evenings where you can’t manage anything too fussy. Serve over rice for a more filling family meal, or just with a bunch of vegetables for a healthier version.

Easy homemade sauce

The sesame stir-fry sauce is so easy and delicious:

  • Soy sauce
  • Brown sugar
  • Sesame oil
  • Garlic
  • Fresh ginger
  • A dash of rice vinegar
  • Some ketchup
  • A fresh chilli, chopped

Ingredients

  • 500g of our lean stir fry pork

  • Veggies such as peppers, onions, julienned carrots, spring onions, cabbage, pak choi, mung beans, green beans etc. (finely chopped for quick cooking time)

  • Stir fry sauce (as per above)

Directions

  • Quickly stir fry your pork, but don’t overcook it
  • Add the vegetables and cook briefly (you want them al dente)
  • Add your sauce and cook down for a couple of minutes until the sugar causes the sauce to thicken
  • Serve alone or on rice and put a generous amount of sesame seeds on top.
